Four areas, ten suburb pages

We connect homeowners, landlords and bodies corporate with waterproofing contractors across the Johannesburg metro. Our local pages are grouped into four areas, because properties in each tend to share the same kind of roof: the age of the housing, whether the roofs are pitched tile or flat concrete, and whether the roof belongs to one owner or to a body corporate.

East Rand and Midrand

Midrand and Benoni hold two very different kinds of roof: the newer estate and commercial developments of Midrand, and Benoni's older mining-era houses under heavy tree cover. Both need a contractor who reads the roof first.

Why location matters for a roof

The same job can look very different from one suburb to the next. In Sandton, Fourways and Bryanston, large homes and dense complexes mix pitched tile with flat concrete, and the body corporate often decides. In Randburg and Roodepoort, the housing is older and the coatings are further through their life. Alberton and Kempton Park take the eastern hail, and Midrand and Benoni run from new estates to older plots under heavy tree cover.

Each local page explains those conditions and links to the services most asked for there. We do not publish a suburb page unless we can say something specific and true about it, with a source.

Your suburb is not listed?

We take enquiries from across Johannesburg, including suburbs without their own page. Send your details through the contact form and we will check whether a contractor covers your area. If none does, we will tell you rather than pass your details on regardless.

Tell us about your roof

Send your suburb and what you need: roof waterproofing, a leak repaired, roof repairs, a flat roof or damp-proofing. We pass your enquiry to a contractor who covers your area, and the contractor quotes you directly.
